Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how SuperDaddy (“we”, “the app”) handles information when you use the iOS app. SuperDaddy is a parenting assistant for adult fathers. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis or emergency care.
1. Current product mode (local-first)
The current App Store release is designed to work primarily on your device:
- Core features (Family, Med Box, Pickup) store data on your iPhone.
- Cloud sync and the Companion community module are not required to use the app.
- You can start without Sign in with Apple; an optional local profile may be created on device.
2. Information we process
Depending on the features you use, the app may process:
- Account / profile: optional Sign in with Apple user identifier, nickname, avatar you choose.
- Child profile data you enter: name, birthday, weight, sex, optional photo.
- Health & medicine records you enter: temperatures, medicine inventory, dosing times, allergens, vaccine checklist progress.
- Family routines you enter: shopping lists and diet preferences.
- Pickup & travel data you enter: school destinations, dismissal times, weekend packing lists.
- Location: only after you grant permission, for pickup routing, maps, and weekend weather around a place you choose. We do not continuously track your location in the background for advertising.
- Photos / microphone: optional avatar photos; speech features only if you use them.
- Device notifications: local reminders for medicine, shopping, pickup, and birthdays (processed on device via Apple’s notification system).
3. How information is used
- To provide app functionality you request (charts, reminders, routes, checklists).
- To personalize dosing and age-based tips from data you enter.
- To improve reliability of on-device features.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for third-party advertising tracking.
4. Storage & sharing
- On device: most data stays in on-device storage (for example App storage / UserDefaults / local files).
- Apple services: Sign in with Apple, Apple Maps / MapKit, WeatherKit, and system notifications may process data under Apple’s terms when you use those features.
- Optional future cloud: if a later version enables signed-in cloud sync or Companion, data you choose to sync may be stored on our servers outside mainland China. That mode is disclosed again in-app before it becomes required.
5. Children’s privacy
SuperDaddy is intended for adult parents. Child information is entered by the parent/guardian to support caregiving tools. Do not use the app to publish a child’s identifiable personal information publicly.
6. Retention & deletion
- You can edit or delete many records inside the app (for example temperature history or child profiles).
- To delete your account / local profile and associated on-device dad account data: open the app → tap your avatar → Edit profile → Delete account.
- Uninstalling the app removes on-device app data on that device (subject to iOS behavior and any backups you made).
7. Your choices
- System Settings control Location, Notifications, Photos, and Microphone permissions.
- You may export child profile backup files from the profile screen where available.

8. International users
If you use the app outside your home country, information may be processed in the country where your device is located and by Apple services in the regions Apple operates.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change, and the latest version will be available at this URL and in the app.
